A member since 1999, I have been active with DSDS in many volunteer roles,
include the “Band Liaison” responsible for the booking of live bands for DSDS
dances, as instructor for both Beginning classes and workshops, and as DJ for many
of the dances. I look forward to contributing even more to the organization that has
done so much for the preservation of East Coast Swing and Lindy Hop in the Dallas
area.

I have been a member of the Dallas Swing Dance Society for 5 years. During that
time, I have volunteered at dances, weekend workshops and exchanges in the
capacities of staging crew, graphic designer, and instructor. I have been in local
performance troupes and competed locally and nationally. Swing and Lindy Hop
dancing of the early 20th century was a mix of Social Dance, Performance Troupes
and Competitions. I wish to help develop and implement new programs that will
focus on competition and performance within our already successful social dance
scene.

I am currently finishing up my first full term on the DSDS board and I am the
clerk on Helen Dulac’s team. I am also an officer of the Fort Worth Swing Dance
Syndicate. I have been a member of the DSDS since 2001 and I have been actively
participating for several years. I look forward to being able help teach and promote
swing dance among the DFW community. See you on the dance floor.

I have been a member of DSDS since 2000. My first dance was a Swing on a String,
and dancing has allowed me to grow tremendously as a person; my goal is for DSDS
to continue to provide opportunities for future dancers to do the same.

I have been a member of DSDS for past 2 years. I currently serve as the DSDS
newsletter editor and volunteer at the dance once a month. I look forward to
serving you again.

I am the current President of the Forth Worth Swing Dance Syndicate. I also teach
and DJ for both organizations. I am a DSDS team leader, a member of the Events
Committee and help design the flyers and mail outs for DSDS. I wish to continue
the educational offerings of DSDS and hope to increase outreach and community
involvement. This includes fostering a good relationship between DSDS and the
other swing organizations in Texas. I look forward to serving you again.

I've been an active member of DSDS and have served as treasurer from 1999
through mid -2005. In addition to my duties as a DSDS board director, I volunteer
teach and help with the dances. I'm looking forward to promoting swing and aiding
the community.
