  ----WORKSHOP
  The evening starts with a two hour Lindyhop workshop from 6-8. This workshop will take those dancers who are biginners and familiarize them with the Basic Lindyhop moves and rythm
  
  They will cover:
  - Learn Lindyhop Rhythm
  - Learn Basic moves
  - Leading and Following in Lindyhop
  
  By the end of the class you will ready to hit the floor to practice your new skill.
  
  ----PRICE
  Cost of the workshop and the dance that follows is $10 for DSDS members and $15 for non-members.
  
  Prerequisites for the class: There are no prerequisites for this class. This is open to all levels. However, familiarity with East Coast Swing and Triple Steps will be helpful.

  Then the dancing starts at 9pm with the DJ's Jerry & Matheu spinning great swing songs until midnight.

  We are getting ready for another great year here in Dallas and what better way to kick off the summer than swing dancing. Join us the weekend of May 31^st – June 2^nd for Dallas Lindy Workshop. We are pulling out all the stops again this year with great instructors and classes. We are happy to announce that we will be hosting Todd Yannacone & Pamela Gaizutyte as well as Michael Faltesek & Casey Schneider as our out of town instructors. Additionally, you can expect to see some of your favorite local instructors teaching as well. We are offering a broad range of classes this year including full Beginner, Intermediate and advanced tracks for the entire weekend.

  
  

  This year we are pleased to announce that we will have all new floors. DSDS is purchasing dance floor to put in place of the aging floors at the Dallas Opera Rehearsal Center. So you'll have lots of spring in your step and your swing out will be awesome!
